Rose scowled at the pile of clothes still on her bed. They were cute things - tops and skirts and tighter jeans that had been fun to wear around Fandom but didn't have a place back in Montana. Apparently pouncing all over things as a VERY FIERCE bobcat hadn't kept Rose's training up enough that she wasn't absolutely exhausted after her afternoon session.  So after getting back from the gym and showering, she flopped onto her bed.  She'd missed her bed.  Nice, comfortable bed.

Fumbling slightly, she tried to rip open the weird letter at the same time as she read the return address.  Managing only the first, she pulled a thick envelope out of the packaging and ripped that open in turn.  The letter was barely a paragraph on plain white paper but the packet with it held airplane tickets, and Rose read the short letter ( Read more... )
